1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Synolo ("the Service"), operated by Synolo LLC ("Synolo," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age to use Synolo. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are between 16 and 18 years of age, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Subscription Plans and Payment
4.1 Plans
Synolo offers the following subscription tiers:
- Free Trial: Limited access at no cost.
- Core ($6/month): Essential features with limited AI usage.
- Pro ($10/month): Expanded features, unlimited agents, and bring-your-own API key support.
- Ultra ($20/month): Full access to all features with the highest AI usage allowance.
4.2 Free Trial
Paid plans include a 14-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for the selected plan. Your data is preserved after the trial expires, but access to paid features will be restricted until you subscribe.
4.3 Payment and Refunds
- All payments are processed through Stripe.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically.
- All sales are final. No refunds will be issued for any subscription payments, partial or otherwise.
- If a payment fails, you will have a 3-day grace period to update your payment method before your account access is restricted.
4.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will revert to restricted access. Your data will be preserved.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Synolo to:
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
- Engage in any activity that is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading.
- Upload, store, or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Abuse, exploit, or misuse AI agents or automated features, including but not limited to: using agents to spam, harass, or target individuals; creating agents that perform unauthorized actions; circumventing rate limits or usage restrictions; or using agents in any manner that could harm Synolo, its users, or third parties.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, data, or any part of the Service's infrastructure.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service.
- Use the Service to mine cryptocurrency, run botnets, or perform any resource-intensive automated operations not intended by the Service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service's servers, networks, or infrastructure.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without written permission.
- Use the Service to store, process, or transmit material that infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Use the Service to process, store, or transmit protected health information (PHI) in a manner that would require HIPAA compliance, unless separately agreed upon in writing.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these acceptable use provisions.
6. Your Content
- You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or store in Synolo.
- By using the Service, you grant Synolo a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content as necessary to provide and improve the Service, including sending content to third-party AI providers for processing.
- Your content may be used to train and improve Synolo's systems (such as categorization, suggestion accuracy, and personalization). We do not own or operate the underlying AI models.
- You are solely responsible for the content you create and store. We do not monitor or pre-screen user content.
7. AI Features and Third-Party Services
- Synolo integrates with third-party AI providers (including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google) to power AI features. Your content may be sent to these providers for processing.
- AI-generated content (summaries, suggestions, categorizations, chat responses) is provided "as-is" and may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should not rely on AI-generated content for medical, legal, financial, or other critical decisions without independent verification.
- If you use the Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) feature, you are responsible for complying with the terms of service of the respective AI provider.
- Third-party integrations (Google Calendar, Gmail, SimpleFIN, Stripe) are governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. Synolo is not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
8. Financial Data Disclaimer
Synolo provides tools for tracking personal finances, budgets, spending, and investments. This information is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You should consult a qualified professional before making any financial decisions. Synolo is not a registered financial advisor, broker-dealer, or tax advisor. We are not responsible for any financial losses resulting from your use of the Service.
9. Health Information Disclaimer
Synolo provides tools for tracking medications, supplements, and health-related data. This information is for personal tracking purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions. Synolo is not responsible for any health outcomes resulting from reliance on information provided through the Service.
10. Data Export and Deletion
- You may request a full export of your data at any time by contacting us.
- You may request deletion of your account and all associated data. Upon deletion, all your data — including notes, tasks, contacts, calendar events, financial data, and files — will be permanently removed from our servers.
- Deletion is irreversible. We cannot recover data after it has been deleted.
11. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, features, branding, and documentation, is the property of Synolo LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content provided through the Service, including AI-generated content.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SYNOLO LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service;
- Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data;
- Any content or conduct of any third party on or through the Service;
- AI-generated content, suggestions, or automated actions;
- Actions taken by AI agents on your behalf;
- Loss of financial data, inaccurate financial tracking, or investment losses;
- Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the Service;
- Any other matter relating to the Service.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Synolo LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
15. Termination
- You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or cancelling through the Service.
- We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 17 survive termination.
16. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. You consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Synolo LLC regarding the use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
